At our Ecole de Peinture we provide a relaxing atmosphere for artists to develop their abilities and to make new friends in this very special area of France. We offer individual and sensitive tuition, encouraging you to develop and improve your style, skills and techniques.

The breathtaking scenery and wonderful light inspired artists such as Manet,Picasso, Soutine, and Salvador Dali. The wealth of subject matter ranges from the Mediterranean seashore and harbour scenes to the Pyrenean Mountains with their charming villages. Courses are limited to small groups so that everyone gets the attention they need. We arrange field trips to a number of attractive locations for painting and help is available in the studio with completion of works. There are five days of tuition per week with one rest day, which you might like to use to visit a vineyard, a trip to the beach or a local museum. We are within easy reach of the Museum of Modern Art in Ceret and not far from the Dali Museum in Figueras, Northern Spain.
