In the village of Joch there is a multi purpose activity area offering tennis, football and basketball.
- There are tennis courts at Vinca
- Golf at Arbussols, 15 minutes distant and St Cyprien on the coast (championship course)
- Swimming in lake at Vinca
- Windsurfing in lake at Vinca
- White water sports at Marquixanes
- Horse riding available locally
- Fishing on lake at Prades and in the Tet river
- 4 x 4 trips to the top of Mount Canigou
Skiing in winter - no longer the poor relation to the Alps the whole area has undergone a large investment in the past 5 years to upgrade the slopes and lift system. There are now very good facilities at a competitive price. In summer months the lifts are open to take you up the mountains so that you can walk amongst the wild mountain flowers and admire the panoramic scenery.
The thermal baths at St Thomas are open to the general public all year round. The baths are at 36 degrees and said to cure many aches and pains. They are very popular with skiers and walkers.
